hi I have 8 peacock gobies in a 4ft community tank They are just about an inch long so no pairing up yet

I noticed your male has a very bright red head I have not seen this on other specimens

i have purchased 8 of these with hope that a few will pair up and breed According to most literature they are fine in freshwater and will require soft water for breeding

Mine are a little on the small side and not quite mature enough to breed

They share a 4ft tank with a few corys some goodieds ...

hi i have just ordered 8 of these guys and will probably seperate into 2 groups of 4 depending on what sexes are They seem quite easy to breed and from what ive read up on prefer soft water and the name is misleading as they are more like gudgeon species i have suitable tanks kitted out with pots...

Hi I have 3 anostomus in my 6ft tank The largest often intrudes on the kissing gouramys act of kissing and regularly cleans the inside mouth of my sailfin gibbiceps as he adopts the right angle and stays still for him to do so

I have seen films of cleaner wrass do this but never freshwater species

This deserves a much wider audience in UK its not so bad although we often see them in divided tanks withabout 4" but at least they run thru a filtration system

I managed to get a group of 8 of these rainbows They need to grow on a bit but the males are already displaying They have their own tank

I made sure there are some spawning mops too as I read that They dont usually eat their eggs or fry

We have quite a few brislenose Ancistrus including long tfins albinos lemons and calico and a variety called nudiceps living in various tanks

Our largest is only about 5inches so far

They are all great and love zuccini

I have a shoal of 9 clown loach in my 5ft tank some are getting quite szeable now

I like the combination of stripes in your tank they compliment each other very well and harmonize superbly Well done

Wow great show size tigers and great set up too- love the bogwood

Are they still nippy when they reach that size

I got stressed just watching it all I think I have a bad case of whitespot and feel the need for a lie down.....wake me when its all over

I got the leporinus now at just 2 inches and he settled in well considering the larger sized tankmates

He hid at first but now appears to be quite bold

In my 6ft tank I have huge silver dollars a black shark clown loach etc

The platys and guppys breed and the fry dont get eaten I keep having to thin them out into other tanks and help friends start their own tanks

Every home should have a tank or 2 - we have 8 but hey its oft...
