Awesome to hear Davis 45 years later, sounding as good as ever. To those here making fun of his comments about the war, make I suggest you read a bit of history. He is 100% accurate, the Korean War ended in 1953. I'm not sure why you people thought he was talking about Vietnam.

Should you ever do another tribute to 'Her Nibs' please consider beginning it with her version of 'Get Out Those Old Records', the most perfect intro song to any oldie play, especially one honoring her.

JellyFishDad1 declared these guys the best white doo wop group of all time and I'd have to agree...emphasizing the word 'group'. Dion himself was a great lead group (and solo) singer, yet strangely the Belmonts, later without Dion, sounded even better as a group, if that's possible.

The most underrated of all the groups of that era, The Turbans were only known for When You Dance. You've posted a lot of rare and awesome music from the 50s. I was curious to find if there is a way I can access all of your postings. As I'm doing it now it's just hit and miss and when I find something I've never heard, I'm sometimes floored as with this one. Thanks.

OMG, I just found this and was absolutely floored. I've always considered Timi one of the top two of the era (along with Etta James) and have most of her studio recordings. However, I'm not sure that I ever saw her perform live and this is an awesome experience. I was filled with emotion watching...

There's a missed beat at 1:02 where you apparently patched up a skips and did a good job fixing with software. This song is one of the classics of all time. It brought chills to me back in the 60s and now fills me with all kinds of emotion remembering how it used to affect me.

Thanks. This is the only song by the group that didn't make it to CD (until very recently on some bootleg). However, you might want to check your turntable as this is definately playing slower than it should. It's always been one of my favorites as the flip side of The Verdict.
