===FICTIONAL BIO (For the RP)===

Born in Omi Provence, Kanbei Kuroda was born diseased with a defection that bleached his skin. It weakened him physically and from an early age was decided as unable to serve as a samurai in his manhood. So he spent his childhood studying and observing the constant wars between Japanese and Chinese warlords that he spent his life growing up in. His father had shared his knowledge with him, while his mother had taught her style of fighting to his sister. As Kanbei entered his early teenage years Omi provence entered a stage of transition to the ownership of another warlord. During this time defense was lax with the old guards fleeing only to be replaced by the new ones. Because of this lax defense, Omi was taken advantage of by bandits who traveled the land. They ravaged the villages in Omi, and eventually swept through Kanbei's hometown. Kanbei's father had gone out with the other men to fight the bandits, and had been killed in the process. They entered Kanbei's house with torches, and surrounded his home in flames. They took advantage of the gold and attempted to take advantage of the woman. Kanbei was unaware of the location of his sister, and it is presumed she fled the house to hide. But his mother grabbed a knife and landed it into the kidney of one bandit before being hit in the face by another, knocking her to the ground. As the bandit prepared to make the final blow, Kanbei ran in front of his mother and grabbed the bandit's wrist. But because of his weak stature, it proved futile as the bandit swung him off and into the flames, where his head collided with the burning wood, knocking him unconscious as flame enveloped the half of his body. His mother ran to his aid, and covered his body within her robes and desperately put out the flames, before she was fatally stabbed in the back by the bandits. They presumed the boy to be dead, and left the house as it was consumed in flame. In her last moments, Kanbei's mother crawled out of the building with her wounded son and died atop him in the backyard, still shielding him under her robes. The bandits had left as soon as they arrived. The village was devastated, encased in ash. By the time the guards of the new warlord arrived, it was far too late. An old monk of the village was searching what remained to help those that had survived. That is when he found Kanbei, half of his body severely burned in the second and third degree. Kanbei was conscious, in shock and to tired to scream in pain. He took him under his wing and healed the burns the best he could, but the damage was done. Most of the burns were permanent, his face being the least damaged other than a black shine cast over the left side of his face. The trauma of that day affected his mentality in a way where he began to lose a sense of remorse. He was not sapped of all emotion. He was still driven. A burning passion to end the war that took away everything from him. It was not out of vengeance, or hate, but it was a solemn decision that it needed to end for the sake of both countries. He continued to grow mentally, and the monk trained him to grow physically. But he was still far weaker than the great warriors of the land, and the monk had seen this. The monk brought Kanbei to a shrine where two green orbs shined brightly in the night. He explained that they contained great power, but it was of no use to the peaceful monks. These Jade Orbs were bestowed to Kanbei, and they contained a power considered demonic to the monks, but this monk trusted Kanbei with this power. Kanbei Kuroda could now use his mind and the orbs to fight and start his mission. Kanbei was now in his mid 20's, and left his now surrogate father to serve the most powerful lord he could find to stamp out the sparks of war. His childhood friend, Hanbei Takenaka, discovered him, and although his army was not the most massive, Kanbei understood the strength of the mind, and knew Hanbei had a mind equal to his own. So he served the Takenaka to bring the long needed peace to the lands of Japan and China.
