The Journey partners with Graffiti Ministries to make a difference in New York City.
Living on the streets of New York and addicted to drugs, Vaughn's life changed one day when he met Taylor Field, Pastor of Grafitti Community Ministries and one of the ministries that our Showing We Care Special Offering goes to support. After giving his life to Jesus, giving up his drug habit, and putting his life back together, he now serves with Grafitti to feed the hungry and give hope to the hopeless.
This Christmas Season, you and I have an opportunity to be apart of God's work in serving the poor and needy in our city, just like Vaughn, when we give to the Showing We Care Special Offering. We may never fully understand the impact, but we can rest assured that God is using our generosity to make an eternal difference in our city.
In 2010, our support for Grafitti and other organiziations that are meeting the spiritual and physical needs of those in most need will continue through this annual offering.

The SHOWING WE CARE Special Offering is a call to sacrificial giving, with a goal of $315,000 for four ministry initiatives:
- To support Global / U.S. missions and start new churches.
- To share God's love to our city through Servant Evangelism
- To tangibly support local organizations that assist the poor and needs in New York City
- To fund the 2010 Benevolence and Counseling ministry to support our fellow attendees at their time of greatest need.
- To enhance the Journey Kidz experience on Sunday and address key capital improvements across all of our Journey locations.
