I think it is because of the double clutch gearbox, if 'Massa' needs it, the first clutch disengages and then the second clutch that always holds neautral engages. If he spins off for example, he will need that N asap. to get going again.

The mech is not complicated. You pull back the firing pin and the tenion on the trigger locks the pin in place so that when you fire, the trigger goes down and the firing pin is released.
