Thanks for posting. I've been listening to nothing but ER for the past week. There are some great songs that weren't singles - Long Gone, Sweet Janine, Could you love a poor boy, I Just Got To Have You, Sure Thing, Jewelry Store, etc....and that's just from the 1st 3 albums.
I wonder what their american label thought of this one - Fall '83 - tough to get on the radio in Reagan's America talking about doves. It's unfortunate, they were coming off two big hits in America that summer - Our House & It Must Be Love.
What a great show, Fell & Lindley were so funny. I believe you can still buy the whole series from "sell.com" Check out "The Party" & "Helen Makes Music" episodes - well worth the price.
This one got me into Ian/Mott at the tender age of 13 back in '83. For those who can't figure out why they love this song so much - it's the melody and that voice. BTW - another terrific/timeless song from this album - Seeing Double
Thanks so much for posting the video, this is the only one I missed during it's original run & I've never seen it. I hope Warner Brothers will release this on DVD soon - Thanks again!!!
For whomever is (thankfully) posting these videos, if you have "The Christmas Party" that would be awesome to see. It's the only episode I've never seen. I really wish Warner Brothers would at least do a limited dvd release of this great show.
