i dont think 'addiction' is the real problem, its the fact that video games are relatively cheap for the amount of time of enjoyement you get. e.g. 15$ a month for wow for seemingly endless fun. people could go and do 'normal' things like play outside, do chores, or whatever it is 'normal' ppl do...
