All seems to be well in the global Utopian empire, ruled by the balance of tribune powers: the Assembly of wise Elder-scientists, the Kyyboa temple-priests, and the royal house of Queen Zealia Mararam & King Ahgamen Mararam (including 12 sub-queens and warrior-knights). A Great Wall divides the civilization from the no-man's land, roamed by savage, barbarian hordes.
Protected by this Wall, happy citizens live in idyllic villages and the countryside is a cultivated paradise, allowing people to travel widely and to mingle in leisure. Competition, war, crime, even private ownership and greed are things of the past. Money has been phased out and the economy is primarily a complete barter system, resulting in a high standard of living for all. Everyone obeys the Law of Kyyboa and the ruling class, except for extremely rare cases.
Their main technology is Virtual Reality, generated by the (eG)2, a vast integrated network of super-computers and cybernetic interfaces. This (e)nternet (G)lobal Corporation supplies the abundance of entertainment and the education; as well as the mandatory cure for any citizen requiring "program adjustment". Even though the people may experience wild, cathartic adventures in (eG)2, their memories, morals, everything, is being monitored and the monumental established order is sustained. Many secure generations have enjoyed a profound peace and prosperity, until one day the unforeseen conflict is loosed upon them.
