About this user

My name is Bradford Pettigrew and I have spent my entire adult life in the Arts and Entertainment industry in Canada.
My first love is music, and tht has been my primary artistic focus for many years, as a performer (solo and ensemble) and as a producer and engineer.
Visual Arts have always been a deep love, and it did not take me long to realise that I could neither draw, not paint so, in 1982 I picked up a camera to express my visual side.
I shot a great deal through the 80's for fun and for profit, and shot modeling portfolios, theatre stills and commercial work, but drifted away for several years.
In 1996 I met a beautiful young woman who I felt I simply HAD to photograph, and started to shoot Beauty and Glamour work again, with a fresh outlook.
I shared some images on a web forum and received a great deal of positive feedback, and within days built my first photo website. In 1998, I built The Hungry Eye Mark I, and the site has been evolving and growing ever since.
Today, I shoot full time, while still playing music, but I am becoming better known as a photographer.

It's a tough job.
