In light of RECENT events, this channel is NO LONGER accepting friend invites from entities that don't have actual VIDEOs of themselves showing the FACE of their owner. So no more bots, and sock puppets.
I've neglected the calendar links (below) for a few months now, mainly because the two people who I was sure still look at the thing were among the ones we were visiting, and I've given everyone the software that I use to calculate that stuff.
Likes: Stars, Planets- especially the one I was born on- snakes, Jung, some pre-Raphaelites, rivers, Rodin And Claudel, archaeoastronomy, herbs, plants in general, Heinlein, Greece.
I have much more time to enjoy outdoor things these last couple of years now that I'm retired from the day-job. I've always loved gardening and cultivating my own herbs. I also collect Dragons (sculptures and artwork, that is; not the actual beings) .
I've been practicing my craft for a while. First as solitary, then with a teacher, later with a few friends and teachers, and then finally with an initiatory mystery tradition.
My wife and I are having a wonderful time homeschooling our daughter.
My Wiccan extended family- my Trad- are still in touch with me, but things did have to slow down for a few years after graduation, work, family; we're now contemplating our next moves.
The link there to my calendar is a free account and gets temperamental during the busy hours, so it may take up to four or five re-clickings; it's not a dead link.
This calendar is for astrological and astronomical events with times for the San Antonio - Austin Metropolitan Axis; there are several mirrors available below in case it gets really busy; cut and paste away.

Now, to add to the confusion, my old YouTube channel has been shut down by enochian conspiracy loonies who are accusing me of being part of a plot to immanentize the eschaton in 2012 or something ^_^
All because of a few little Enochian talismans / ensigns that I was showing the world how to make. More drama can no doubt be expected once I open this new and improved channel!
For the record, I am not trying to immanentize the eschaton. I've manufactured these objects before and even given them away to friends- who understood this kind of magic(k) of course- and nothing bad happened.
I can prove it:
1. The world did not end when I did this in 1996.
2. The world did not end when I did this in 1998.
3. The world did not end when I did this in 2002.
4. The rest follows by induction.
I wasn't really into making instructional videos, so this was mostly going to be just my thoughts on some things. My videos still may not be one-hundred percent craft-related.
But I am going in a more specific direction with three things:
1. There will be more focus on the Enochian artifacts... but not Enochian reconstructionism, i.e. trying to exactly reproduce the activities of John Dee and Edward Kelly in the year 1582, which it seems many viewers of the last channel thought should be my goal.
2. The Cytherean transits will also receive special attention. On the "will the world end in 2012" question (which is related to the transit issue), I stand firmly on the "NO" side. So if you don't like to hear your pet-apocalyptic theories bashed, avert thine eyes now.
The third thing has to do with Ophiucians, and I will have to explain more in upcoming videos.
There are also four things I will NOT argue about:
1. Archaeology.
2. Etymology.
3. Word pronunciation.
4. Whether or not Wicca is Satanic.
I don't believe discussing these things to be a productive use of my time, and it distracts those involved from useful magic that might be accomplished. There are already terabytes of crap on the internet about these "topics." If you must shovel more of your own onto the piles, you can find them easily enough.
