I am a retired A&R executive with many years in the business.

I am still a consultant to the recording industry and have decided to create a YOUTUBE channel and explore the untapped emerging music market.

Please do not be offended by my critique. If you ask me for honest commentary, then, that is what you will receive. If I do not comment on your videos, again, please do not be offended.

I do realize that most of the people here who upload cover songs are doing it for the fun of it, and therefore I do understand that you aren't interested in a future in music.

However, if you upload music and want sincere and constructive criticism, then by all means contact me and I will give you a listen.

It is important to note, that I am just one person. Anything that I deem to be unsuitable for general airplay or mass distribution does not necessarily mean it is not good enough for small scale exposure.

I look for quality, creativity & most of all a love for what you are doing. Most importantly is your desire and willingness to be critiqued. It will be something that will happen to you on a daily basis.

Each and every channel here on YOUTUBE has an agenda, as I do. Some want to be friends and others want attention. I want neither. My comments will not be sugar coated in hopes that you will subscribe to this channel. That is not the intent.

If I subscribe to you then there is something about your music that I appreciate and will want to hear more. It is not a stamp of approval or an offer of any recording contract.

I expect that with the thousands and thousands of channels dedicated to music here on YOUTUBE, I may encounter at least a few that may have the opportunity to make a career in music.
