I'm confused so he hates religion but loves Jesus. Yet he puts all his beliefs in Jesus and religion is set of beliefs. So does he hate Jesus? Sounds like a circle to me. Jesus came to get rid of legalism not religion. If you believe in Jesus and worship Him you are practicing a form of religion.
