Yeah, its crazy that all the gods were so, well, human! All the backstabbing and infidelity is ridiculous for gods, but also kinda fascinating. I love how the couple are so oppossite but in the end they kinda made the perfect couple, you cant have death without life. And oppossits can attract, and I agree with you, their marriage, aside from the mint plant episode and the adonis thing, it wasnt as crazy a marriage as the other gods. And they stuck together through and through. Hve you seen the video on youtube 'persephones flight'? sweet and cute animation, check it if you havent!

I agree, I've always loved the myth and all the elements of it, : a mothers love, an innocent maidens abduction, the dispute of the gods and a tragic fate. And yeah, I think alot of ppl love the romatic element of it. Bearing in mind zeus cheated atleast a million times on his wives, and as the king of the gods, thats just tyrannical! I loved the episode, think I've seen it a good few times now since you gave the link, and yeah the actor portraying hades was awesome! So passionate and dark, although persephone was kind of an airhead :( lol
It is hard to find adaptions of the tale. It is though, without a doubt one of my favourite greek myths of all time! Great to find a fellow fan!

well, elena's hesitation also annoys me lol but i hate katherine coz she's hurt damon soooo much and she kissed him knowing he thought she was elena!!!! and what also annoys me of elena is her foolishness..she should be with damon! how can she be with stefan? he is sooo boring! lol
