Looks and sounds to me like the syncros inside the tranny are busted they help locate gears for the upcoming shift and also there is a piece that keeps the selected gear lock in under acceleration . Something like that is really up to speculation on whose fault it is . And you know aswell as I do...

got to slow on the throttle at start up the motor is so strong on these things . think of it like your car you dont drop it in gear and slam the gas or it will spin.... slow roll the throttle . ENJOY!!

there is actually a way to bash these cars.. the good race kits are tough and hard to break but you have to be smart !! this is just sensless stuff cheap cars and kits the nicer stuff doesent plop when it lands like that!
