Fusing melodic beats, percussive guitars, and colorful synths with distinct vocal lines, The Good Bonds are attempting to make something that hasn't been heard before. Matt and Justin are from the same hometown of Langhorne, Pennsylvania but now live in Philadelphia and Washington D.C., respectively. The Good Bonds is a reincarnation of an earlier music project that Justin and Matt founded. This time however, they come to the table with a fresh perspective and new experiences. Their influences range from jazz greats like Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie, legends such as Mick and Keith, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye, and other musical giants from the Talking Heads, N.E.R.D., Ghostland Observatory, Miike Snow and Brandon Flowers. With the music recorded in Washington and vocals in Philadelphia, and being mixed across the east coast, the duo is in the middle of working on the release of their first full studio album which will debut in early 2011.
