About The Ghetto Beethoven
James Sweatmon a native of the Washington, DC metro area is not new to the music scene; having been into music since the tender age of 3. His love of music spans from hip hop to classical with Beethoven being one of his favorite composers; hence his name The Ghetto Beethoven. It was attending church where G.B. discovered his love of hip hop. It was through hip hop music that he was able to receive the message of God, which resonates throughout his music. While naturally learning the genre of hip hop G.B. always sought to improve upon the lyrics and sounds of what he heard, leading to him having a holistic approach to his music; with him serving as the not only the writer of his lyrics but also serving as a producer and mixer of his music and other projects that he is working on. G.B. is also a pianist and many elements of his music are based upon improvisation.
