That is true that you need a string for the paiute and not figure four, but you don't need a knife for a paiute. I have just never been successful with a figure four. I think paiute is just easier. I have caught like 5 squirrels in a paiute deadfall.

@invisibleisolation I also think you mighht be confusing a trap with the old traps that had the teeth on the jaws. well if you are, those are iillegal. and most traps have pads on the jaws these days

I really like the video, nice work. I'm 13 and just started trapping myself. So far this season ive gotten my first fox, raccooon, and beaver. Keep on the tradition it's much better than Xbox and all the new things these days.
