The Gaelic Club, Sydney is an Irish cultural centre and a social centre for the Irish-Australian community in Sydney. It is a place for live entertainment, teaching of traditional music, dance and the Irish language. It has a licensed bar, dance floor, kitchen and meeting room, which members and guests can use and book for functions. The Irish National Association
Promotes Irish culture and the inte...rests of the Australian-Irish community, working closely with its members and the Gaelic Club. It maintains the Albert Dryer library, located in the club.
The Club is now building its profile as a great intimate venue for Australian and International acts. (note: not the Gaelic Hotel, a rock venue)
I am contacting you as I have either seen or heard your act/music and I would like to know if you are interested to perform at the Gaelic Club. Performance nights are going to be every Friday night, with some Saturday and Sunday spots.
The Club has a good sound system, stage and lighting. This is a musician friendly organisation, and the Club is keen that performers are given a fair deal on door takings and costs.
The Gaelic Club is a licensed venue, and bar prices are not expensive, with Guinness the house specialty. The Club can comfortably hold 150 people, and legally can take a few more. This is a seated venue, however we do promote standing and jumping to suport the acts.
We already have a good email list for promotion and we are extending our electronic and online presence.
If you're interested in playing at the Club please get back to me. And I hope your friends and supporters will come along to see you. If you are well received at the Club we will of course invite you back.
Thank you very much for you time
