This is cool and all, but you can learn a lot faster just using tabs and a beginner's book. It's good to learn using your ears as opposed to your eyes. Also, distortion can make it difficult to discern what note you're hitting. Tuning is a major factor too. These are all pretty essential when lea...

It just stinks because a lot of sub-genres get drowned out by dubstep. When people see that there is some sort of organized event involving EDM people automatically think "Oh, this is a dubstep festival". There's nothing wrong with the genre itself or Skrillex.
