There may be some imperfections in the performance, no need to point them out. They are kids in the training period of their musical life and should be commended for the effort and acheivement.

Their "tuning" ear will improve along with technique.

To the critics of the anthem: Is it really so difficult to sing that it can't be performed in tune?

This is proof that a talent can do it and this is the kind of talent the NFL should have sought out to open with.

Good for you !! You have the class to give each of them the credit and compliment they deserve.

It would be more dramatic without the porno background music. Sometimes silence is golden unless you can provide a convincing voice to it.

I think this is the type of song he preferred to sing and it shows better the quality of his voice and what he was able to do.

Your probably right about his dislike of some of the songs he recorded, especially the novelties. He did not like "Don't like the stars......" as I read, because of the many key changes. He was a crooner who liked ballards or love songs "Solo Tu", "No Other Love",

"It's Impossible" ...

I bought this album when it was released and had the 78 rpm recording. Both are gone.

This piece was originally recorded in 1952 or 53. One of my favorites of his. I now have it on cd.

Thanks for keeping him alive in our hearts and minds.

This performance can be appreciated because although not a trained singer, she made a serious attempt to sing the anthem with the respect it deserves and without the vulgarity.

It is now 20 years since her last "attempt" and she is 20 years wiser. Thanks for the apology.

It wasn't the army. I believe it was his mother's death amongst other things later. It wasn't the army, he adjusted well.

It's a pretty machine but the sound quality of this video doesn't do the juke justice.

But they were Sicilian.

The 1950's...So many of the songs of that time were about teenage love and emotion, some sad, some happy but I can't think of any of that time filled with the anger and hate we hear today.
