I'm a believer in freedom, in search of my ideological home. Over the years, my journey has taken me through populism, constitutionalism, neoconservatism, back to constitutionalism, and paleoconservative/ libertarian fusionism. I eventually found all these ideologies to be inconsistent, so I continued the process of refinement, having moved into radical minarchist libertarianism while at the same time getting involved in the Libertarian Party. About this same time I came under the influence of Misesian Anarcho-capitalism (for lack of a better term). While I was never an actual "anarcho-capitalist" I learned a tremendous amount from them, and at the same time I could readily sense that something was lacking. Their own fundamental beliefs about the non-agression principle, property, markets, and government intervention (when applied consistently) were leading me away from participation in electoral politics, and my former acceptance of the state on pragmatic grounds. I've been drifting leftward ever since and now identify myself as a mutualist. In short, I'm home.
