I'll take this over rap and hip hop any day. This was singing and great uplifting lyrics and a compelling beat. Suit306 is right -- if you don't want to get up and dance after hearing this song you are dead.

@JRBL1A1 -- well, sir, you are very wrong. My SCOTS- Irish ancestors emigrated to America in the late 1700s, landing in Philadelphia. It was a mis-spelling. I guess you wouldn't understand that as you've never made a mistake.

I have loved this song from the first time I heard it in ???? and still love it. One of my all time favorites. And I love the name REO Speedwagon. Very clever to adopt it.

I will admit it. I'm a guy and this music brings tears to my eyes. Tony Williams could SING !!

@VPTSV - I was fortunate enough to be in jr. high school in late 50s and dancing to this song. I loved it then and still love it.

Fantastic memories . . . unlike most posting, I grew up in a hick town in Ohio, but it made no difference cause of radio. I love the do wop sound and its vibrancy.
