I have riden for 12 years. I rode hunter and equ for the first 10 years of my riding career. After a barn switch 2 years ago i began to make the switch to eventing. june a year and a half ago i did my first eventing schooling show and xc schooling. i fell in love with the sport all over again, this time for eventing. after stuggling for 2 years with my very green tb/hanovarian mare, i bought another horse in may 2009, Alvin. Alvin brought me into the real world of eventing and competing. After 9 days of extensive training at young rider camp i knew this is what i wanted. In august i did my first HT at Novice. We placed 3rd. Since then we have done a few more across the South, including Ky's Hagyard Midsouth team challenge. We have also done a few Dressage shows here and there. This winter we are training hard to move up to training level on Alvin and start eventing Bella, the mare. We are hoping for another incredible year, this time with higher goals and two competing horses!
