Fine track by The Motors, which was a fairly sizeable hit in the UK back in 1978. It was also Simon Bates's 'Record Of The Week' at one point in that year, if my memory serves me correctly. ('Batesy' was the presenter of the 9:00 am - 11:30 am morning show on National Radio One, at that time.)

"Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me)" by Mr Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel was one of the classic pop/light rock songs of the 1970's. It topped the UK charts in February of 1975 - 37 years ago this month - and still sounds as good today as it did way back then.

Great track by Hot Chocolate from around 1978 (if my memory serves me correctly). I think that it reached #12 in the UK charts - something like that - but it definitely deserved to be a WAY bigger hit than that.

Lyrically (if not musically), "I'll Put You Together Again" is somewhat reminisc...

Generally speaking, this track by Ms Wynette is much more popular with men that it is with women. Over the years, I have come across numerous girls and women who can't stand the song...
