@commess1 When two acts place 5th and 6th after the public vote, the judges choose who will move on to the next round.

Between these guys and Sandau Trio Russian Bar, I am very disappointed. I had both acts pegged as finalists.

Every performer, professional or amateur, is going to make a mistake in their act. It won't always jeopardize their entire performance. Matt Wilhelm was really good this time, better than his Youtube performance. He added a story to it, a reflection of things that happened in his childhood.

This guy was funny, but pretending to do illusions isn't the greatest talent in the country. He shouldn't have made the top 48, making a true magician lose his opportunity.
