The Draft Review is the brainchild of Matthew Maurer. It's not about news reporting or publishing the latest here-say rumors. At TDR it's all about giving you the best scouting reports and player analysis, hands down, plus the history of the NBA draft in tribute to its players, and all the extras just for fun.

As a historian and draft analyst, Matthew specializes in the evaluation of NBA pro prospects, critically assessing and providing recommendations on the draft stock of a wide range of players each season. From the highly rated to those under the radar, whether a kid can play or is raw with potential, Matthew will break that player down in analysis, all while remaining committed to historical research in his efforts to preserve NBA draft history.

Matthew is frequently featured on sports radio shows throughout the country and serves on the executive board of APBR (Association for Professional Basketball Research). His first book publication, 2007 Basketball Draft Yearbook, is certain not to be his last.
