About Me:
My interest is mainly in mainline steam but I'm slowly coming round to modern traction after seeing the excellent videos from some of my subscriptions.
Sadly, my videos are hardly earth-shattering, but I try my best.
I just hope that by turning up and filming I can give others who couldn't make it an opportunity to see what's been happening in our neck of the woods.
I film mainly around Lancaster where I have been a trainspotter for the last 50 years. Mainline steam takes me back to when I was a young lad and when things seemed a whole lot better than they do now.
Update: I am now able to get out and about a bit more following my recent health problems. In fact it looks like I'm on the mend so you'll be able to suffer yet more of these bloody videos.

Walking, reading, gardening, Steam trains, Model Railways, Woodworking, computing, photography, my grandsons and looking after my hens. Oh! ...and tormenting the cat!
Music:
I used to like most kinds of music, but as I've got older and more intolerant, I've found that most modern stuff is just an interminable bloody din! I particularly dislike the boom boom stuff that emanates from the jalopies of boy racers.
Books:
I read most types of books in connection with my proofreading, but love books anyway.

great channel and a great attitude despite putting yourself down a wee bit. There is no denying one thing. Whether people watch or even like our videos, they will still remain a frozen moment in time. A snapshot and a memory that can be revisited. Isn't it a shame we can't do that in real life? all the best :)
