Diyar Al Muharraq is a unique masterplanned city for the people of Bahrain offering housing, and a quality lifestyle across all strata of society, with a wide range of amenities available for the whole family.

Located on the northern shores of Muharraq, Diyar Al Muharraq will provide a cohesive mix of residential and commercial properties with housing opportunities for over 100,000 people in around 30,000 housing units.

Diyar Al Muharraq, is currently working on the development, which boundaries cover an area of 12 square kilometres. The projects anticipated total investment value is BHD1.2 billion (US$ 3.2 billion) with Kuwait Finance House (KFH) as the major investor.

By being the first development with a dedicated focus on providing a variety of housing options, it will open up new and exciting real estate ownership opportunities across all groups of society.

Its extensive amenities include around 40 kilometres of waterfront, together with sandy beaches. among the most extensive publicly accessible waterfront in the Kingdom as well as all the elements one expects from a vibrant community, including schools, medical centres, parklands, sports facilities, a shopping mall, banks, a business district, hotels, local services and modern infrastructure.

Housing for All
Unlike many private developments in the Kingdom, Diyar Al Muharraq will offer small, medium and large plot sizes to ensure that housing is available across all income groups

It will offer a range of housing options from apartments, to townhouses, to family villas of varying sizes on a freehold basis. All residences will have access to the same high standard and wide choice of facilities available for use by the whole community. The first elements of the development are expected to be ready for use by 2010.

ديار المحرَّق هي مدينة متميزة من ناحية التخطيط والتنظيم، أعدت لتقدم لسكان البحرين عدداً من خيارات السكن ونمط حياة مناسب لكافة شرائح المجتمع، مع مجموعة واسعة من المرافق والخدمات المصممة لكافة أفراد العائلة.

تقع المدينة على السواحل الشمالية لمدينة المحرَّق وستوفر مزيجاً متكاملاً من العقارات السكنية والتجارية، حيث ستضم أكثر من 30,000 وحدة سكنية تتسع لأكثر من 100,000 نسمة.

وتعتبر حالياً ديار المحرَّق، في مرحلة التطوير التي تغطي من خلالها مساحة تبلغ12 كيلومترا مربع. ويتوقع أن تصل الاستثمارات في المشروع إلى ما مجموعه 1.2 مليار دينار بحريني (3.2 مليار دولار أميركي)، علماً بأن المستثمر الرئيسي هو بيت التمويل الكويتي.

ومن أهم معالم المدينة واجهة بحرية على شواطئ رملية وواجهات بحرية عامة تمتد بطول يتجاوز 40 كيلومترا، لتكون لتكون من أطول الواجهات البحرية المتاحة للعموم في البحرين ، وذلك إلى جانب جميع العناصر التي يتوقع وجودها في مجتمع يضج بالحياة، كالمدارس والمراكز الطبية والمنتزهات والمرافق الرياضية إلى جانب مجموعة كبيرة من الخدمات التجارية كمراكز التسوق والبنوك والفنادق، والتي تدعمها جميعا بنية تحتية ذات معايير عالية.

السكن للجميع
وعلى العكس من الكثير من المشاريع الخاصة في المملكة، ستقدم ديار المحرق وحدات سكنية بأحجام صغيرة ومتوسطة وكبيرة بحيث تضمن كون أسعارها ملائمة لجميع شرائح المجتمع،

كما ستقدم عددا من خيارات السكن التي تشمل الشقق والمنازل المستقلة (تاون هاوس) والفيلات العائلية ذات المساحات المختلفة، بعقود تملك حر.

وستتاح لكافة القاطنين إمكانية استخدام المرافق العديدة ذات المعايير العالية والمتوفرة لكافة سكان المجتمع.

ومن المتوقع انتهاء العمل في المراحل الأولى للمشروع وجهوزيتها للاستخدام بحلول العام 2010
