@BklynJayL I believe their horns continuesly grow like for example our fingernails and hair. The one broken may look odd after the fight and stay shorter than the other one but still working.

Okay, I watched the complete movie. Granted, nothing happened to the kitten... but personally I think it is not good to have this little baby confronted with a huge dog being this scared :( Just my opinion...
