The Bachelors are an exciting and interesting group of chimpanzees at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre. The group comprises of 15 male chimps, almost all of them rescued animals with the exception of two who were captive born.

As the video begins the chimpanzees are in what is referred to as the pavilions. This is the pavilion home to alpha male Paddy's group of 20 chimpanzees. The chimp near the window is called Peppa, a chimpanzee rescued from the tourist industry in Spain.

Sally was rescued in Spain where she was used as a photographer's prop for the tourist industry after being smuggled from the wild in Africa. Sally was probably born in 1989 and arrived at Monkey World on 10 November 1993. She is a great foster mum.

Paddy's group numbers 20 chimpanzees and reside: Alpha male Paddy, Beth, Busta, Micky, Zoe, Cindy, Bart, Bixa,Chatta, Clin, Gamba, Grisby, Eddi, Kay, Hebe, Susie, Peppa, Cathy, Athena and Lola.
