The Death of Paris, a dark, dramatic rock-and-roll outlet for singer-songwriter Nathan Harrop's life story.
He has written about his sister's death, his mother's drug addiction, his father's alcoholism, physical abuse and prison time. 10 years of infidelity and stories most of us couldn't summon the courage to share. He puts his real life on the line for everyone to hear.
Harrop found his lineup in an unsigned rock band that had been touring North America independently and playing more than 250 shows a year. The Death of Paris was formed in late 2007 as an acoustic project for Nathan but upon their meeting, The Death of Paris as you know it now, was born. After warm-up performances including an opening slot for Bowling for Soup at The Middle East Downstairs in Cambridge, Mass, an industry showcase at Pete Wentz' club Angels and Kings in N.Y.C. and recording with producer Scott Riebling (Fall Out Boy, Metro Station, Cobra Starship). The Death of Paris are quickly making a name for themselves.

The Death of Paris recently opened for The Ataris,Sleep City and have been selected by Rhode Island's premier Rock radio station WBRU as one of this years Rock Hunt finalists. The band is currently recording new material with Scott Reibling (Fall Out Boy, Metro Station) and Kato Khandwala (The Pretty Reckless, Paramore, Breaking Benjamin).
