An Antipope is a false claimant to be the papacy (i.e. a false claimant to be the Bishop of Rome).
There have been over 40 antipopes in Church history, including some who reigned in Rome.

Antipope John Paul II was a heretic. He taught universal salvation, that all men will be saved and taught that the Holy Ghost is responsible for non-Christian Religions. That is blatant heresy. He may have been validly ordained in the priesthood, but in any event he was an apostate and a heretic, and thus was not Catholic.

May I join in the debate over the Russian revolution? The Bolsheviks didn't topple the Tsar, he abdicated before Lenin returned to Russia earlyin 1917 after the almost bloodless Febuary revolution. The revolution initially placed a democratic government in power but by October Lenin had returned from Switzerland with the help of the German government, and he overthrew the Provisional Government in a coup starting the Russian civil war.

Of course they should have fought germany, but they had no system in place to cater to the millions who went to fight and hence the troops were starving, lucky if they had a gun regardless of ammunition and were demoralised. When millions died the czar kept sending them in. If there had being a diffrent leader then it probably have turned in favor of the russians, i'm not denying that!

The sheer luxury they reportedly lived in was terrible. I can easily believe it because of the palace in St Petersburg. He lived in a dreamworld in the final years of his live and when the communists revolted his army was to tired from fighting a stalemate to do anything about it and even lent their weapons to the communists!
