About this user
If I had to describe myself i would call myself a utilitarian with the dirve and passion of a survivalist. The outdoors is my realm and I enjoy all aspects of outdoor/high adventure living. I actively camp, hike, rock climb, mountain bike, snowboard, surf, and I like to shoot guns. I am by no means an expert, though my friends might disagree at times. I've trained with and have been mentored by some amazing characters that have taught me how to survive. I thank all my scout leaders, teachers and instructors for giving me the tools to succeed when everything else around you is failing. Identify adapt and respond
My goal with this channel is to impart some of the knowledge and experience I've received to my viewers to better prepare them for any situation. It has been my goal to be trained to manage any situation with out hesitation.
Over the past 20+ years, I have hiked 1000's of miles, spent countless nights in a tent (or cave/lean-to), climbed some very intense rock faces, paddled class 4 rivers and fired several thousand rounds through various weapons. I feel that I am well versed in the art of outdoor adventure living. I've purchased, and subsequently destroyed, tons of gear and have found what works and what doesn't work for me.
Stay tuned for gear reviews, gun reviews and my favorite, system building.
