About Me:
We write because we have too much to say. We sing because it sounds so much better than talking. Music allows us to communicate with others who are experiencing the same thing we are millions and millions of miles away. As young women, we have been ecstatic, heartbroken, broken someone's heart, cheated on, lied to, cried to, laughed at, praised, discouraged, and frustrated. But we are learning to rise above all of our fears and conquer our emotions. Life is our inspiration and our fans give us motivation. There is nothing else we would rather do than sing and write for you.

Biography:
ShayBay was born in Tallahassee, Florida where she feels, there is nothing else to do but write. ShayBay has been singing and writing since she was very young. "I know this is my purpose. I wake up singing. I go to sleep humming. I dream about music notes. I was born to do this. Music is literally my life. It is my everything. My reason for existence. I want nothing more than to share my passion, my purpose with the world."
LyaJ was also born in Tallahassee, Florida, the place where she discovered her first love. "There isn't much to do there at all, so I had plenty of time to fall." She began singing when she was five. "I may have been young at that time, but I knew there was something about music. I loved the way each song told a story and I loved the message. They made me want to have something to say too!"
The sisterly bond between LyaJ and ShayBay goes beyond what their audience can imagine...
ShayBay: My Sister and I were dreaming separately before we decided to join each other. Now we dream together. It's like we are connected mentally. I know we are twins at heart. Some twins finish each other's sentences. We finish each others lyrics.
LyaJ: There is no song, no beat we cant tackle when we are together. We can write when we are apart, but when we get together, the lyrics just flow naturally.
The sisters decided to join each other in 2004. Before they sang in separate groups...
LyaJ: I loved my groups before, but now it feels right. We think and understand music on the same level. We feel that Gods purpose for us is to share our talent with the world. And that is what we have fought so hard to do!
