We are a fan-produced motion comic series set in the DC Universe. DC Comics Presents is an anthology series, featuring such iconic characters as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

Last season on DC Comics Presents, the sinister organization known as Checkmate began conspiring against heroes across the globe. Their dark hand was felt in nearly every major city, and their evil deeds went even further. Despite his best efforts to stop Checkmate, Blue Beetle aka Ted Kord, was shot and killed by Chloe Sullivan (Lizzy Johnson). This culminated in Superman's (Brian Tubbs) secret identity being compromised, and his former best friend, Lex Luthor (John Curcio) discovering his dual identity. Lex's thirst for power will pit him fully against the Man of Steel, and the legendary battle of comic book lore begins.

Meanwhile, Dick Grayson (Brennan Lumsdon) began a quest to shed the persona of Robin. After Supergirl valiantly sacrificed her life to make sure the Anti-Monitor was destroyed, her death left a lasting impression on Robin and the Teen Titans. In the wake of her death, Dick begins searching for a new identity. As Dick forges his new superhero persona of Nightwing, Barbara Gordon (Akemi Chandler) struggles to get over the death of Ted and finds herself on a path towards her own destiny.

All of these events are watched under the ever present eye of Checkmate, who continues to tighten their grip around the superheroes. And when a long-forgotten heir to the Luthor empire returns to stake claim on the dynasty, the reigns of Checkmate begin to take a steady turn. As Checkmate wages war against the Justice League, a dark force from space catches a glimpse of Earth and sets his sights firmly on the planet, bringing a deadly apocalypse with him.
