About Me:

Back in a simpler time there was no indie, no emo, no nu-rave. No post-this, post-that, post-whatever the hell else. There was just riff-laden, ballsy rock n roll; huge songs, life-changing gigs and a whole world of noisy, gutsy fun that took people out of their dreary everyday lives and made them feel truly special. Its from this effervescent historical well that the UKs most charismatic young band draw their inspirations. But this is no retro pastiche, these boys are young, hungry and bringing classic rock songwriting flailing and wailing into the 21st century. Its the Foo Fighters and AC/DC in a booze-fuelled riff showdown. Its Tom Petty and Aerosmith in a bare-knuckle dust up over whos got the bigger hooks. Its U2 and Guns N Roses wrestling for stadium supremacy. Put simply: its The Crave and youre going to love it.

A stroke of luck came along when the band were invited to board The Brit Bus a tour being put together in 2007 for a double decker bus to travel from San Francisco to New York over 8 weeks. They were invited to return to Las Vegas by one of the tour sponsors to play at their Halloween party in front of 10,000 people! Harley Davidson invited The Crave to Milkwaukee to film a video for their track Bring It On to promote the 105th Harley Davidson Anniversary Festival. It went down so well they were asked to return for an 8 week tour in 2008 to promote the event, and finished being the only unsigned act to play alongside such legends as Bruce Springsteen and the Foo Fighters.

Undeterred by the music industrys obsession with all things indie, The Crave decided to record tacks for their debut album in Brighton. Mark Flannery (who has worked alongside acts such as Def Leppard, U2 and Depeche Mode amongst many others) saw the talent in this young band and co-produced the first tracks for the record over a few weeks. The Crave combine all the fantastic songwriting elements, infectious melodies, superb harmonies and huge choruses of their peers, but make it sound both thrilling and vibrant in a thoroughly modern style

Hey! I am the boy who's birthday was when i saw you in Manchester (Same day as CJ's) and you were definately the best band i've seen in my time (or one of them), and i've seen Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Thunder, Status Quo, Trivium, Airbourne and Stone Gods.
You would destroy them any day!
