The Cory Daniel Band of Portsmouth, Virginia is a six-piece, high energy, professional band. Well known for their versatility, they play a wide variety of styles including rock, country, blues and reggae among others. They also have a growing number of originals. Led by nineteen-year old, blind multi-instrumentalist Cory Daniel they have played all over the Hampton Roads Virginia and Outer Banks North Carolina area since 2005. They have headlined the Norva in Norfolk, Virginia and recently recorded their first EP. Cory plays fifteen instruments and has done lots of studio work and has performed with several well-known musicians at Nashville's famous Wildhorse Saloon including Elliot Easton (The Cars), David Ellefson (Megadeath), Chris Slade (AC/DC) and Earl Slick (David Bowie.) He and his band have shared the stage with such established acts as The Lost Trailers, Jr. Walker & The All-Stars, Bucky Covington & Darryl Worley.
