@mrfootinmouth Yeah on Crack the Skye "Royal edition" they released the whole album regular but also all the songs instrumentally as well. Just put Mastodon Divinations instrumental if you want to check it out.

@dethskullcrusher Have you heard the other two songs from the album? Dusk Dismantled and Inception of the End? They are ALOT better than this song. Still not comparable to Shogun or Ascendancy or even Ember to Inferno but they are pretty damn good IMO.

@slantyrock I totally agree with this song being a masterpiece, this is probably not only the best Megadeth intro ever but the best song ever as well. And some of the best solos to be on a album in a long time, Megadeth or any other band

Just to clear something up in my last comment, when I say Metallica I mean the first 4 albums. After that they can suck my right nut. and Pretty much the same for Megadeth, First 4 albums are awesome, Countdown to Extinction is decent along with Unted Abominations and Endgame

I think Crack The Skye is not only the best Mastodon album but the best Metal album ever. Just my opinion, but everything from the music to the vocals and especially the concept of CtS is just amazing. Im really into spiritual stuff like OBE's, astral projection, the spirit world, ghosts and etc....

@818KLOWNER I dont want them to be THE BIGGEST, they already are the best IMO but to be the biggest and most popular that means they would sacrafice their sound in order to get rich, kinda like metallica did in '91. I would be very upset if they sold out like that, they are too great of musicians...

They shouldve tried to get Scott Kelly of Neurosis to do his parts for the recording of this performance. That wouldve been badass, Im not saying it isnt badass without him but I think it wouldve been a bit better if he did the verses like he did on Crack The Skye album.

@fckth3systm You should though, you are good and the more people that see you, the more people will know you and your talent. When The Hunter comes out you should def. upload some of those covers. Still dont know exactly when it will be out but Mastodon hasnt disappointed me yet, so it should be...
