Hi I,m trying to fix one for a friend they dont have muh money so it,s a free fix. All it as is a green light it charge,s. The screens are fine I thinks it a mainboard faulty anybody help please. I,ve replaced loads of screens but dont usually get involved in the mainboard. The screens do not flash switch feels fine it was not dropped just stopped working

I got the PS3 "code of death" (80010514) and I can't get it fixed, I've tried about everything I can find and think of, anything you know of I could try short of just sending it in to sony? I've heard that replacing the blu-ray laser works but I'd rather not take it apart unless i HAVE to. BTW cool videos, I like seeing the insides of the systems

My PS3 shows a black screen, i can turn it on and of and it sounds like its working but i have black screen...
All the cables are conected, i tried to reset it by holding the button till you hear 3 beeps.. doesnt do anything..

Please help me! how can i fix my ps3???
