Boy I can just picture Hank Senior's voice doing this! Especially at 1:52. Hank Jr. did an awesome job, no doubt, but I would've loved to see Hank Sr do this one. RIP.

@y0kwetahoe same for me! I hated the shit (and still do) on the local "country" stations in my area. Then I discovered Conway, Waylon, Johnny Cash (even though I knew him from my mama singing him all the time), Hank Williams Sr. Jr. and the Third, Willie Nelson, etc.

I think it's awesome Hank wrote this song in 20 minutes while on the tour bus of the Grand Ole Opry. He originally wrote it for Jimmy Dickens, saying he needed a hit, then he took it back, saying it was too good for him, joking wise. Man I wish I could've met Hank!
