I don't think any books are yet dedicated to these cultures, although i know they are mentioned. e.g. Ivan the terrible (russia), ghengis khan (mongolia) are, i think, both mentioned in the book 'Rotten Rulers'....

The 2010 one doesn't seem that inaccurate. it looks just like the police boxes I've seen in Glasgow, more so than the other two in fact. granted the windows are a bit fatter (and the sign just says 'police') but apart from that it looks pretty good. good enough to fool me anyway.
