If the "government" had "exclusive control" of violence, it would have rendered itself obsolete.. who would it be protecting you from???

and yes, you can demand money from me and put me in a cage if i dont pay.... all that happens is another group comes and does it back to you, maybe... it just perpetuates it...

No one has the right to INITIATE violence... the problem here is "legal" vs "natural" rights. Like i said, "the state just claims they do," the "legal right to initiate violence" is not a right at all....and it doesnt change the fact that other violence is perpetrated elsewhere-- they are simply "trying" to maintain a monopoly, but IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. to think it's possible or actually exists is to say that the state is basically responsible for all violence........ honestly all one might be able to say is "theyre trying to maintain a monopoly on violence" -- or maybe "they are responsible for MOST of the violence" --
