When all of the countries in the world with high standards of living are classified as "Capitalist democracies", usually socialists will make excuses about "Imperialism" or "Exploitation of Third world countries" or "Abuse of The workers". The last time Ichecked Japan didn't have any colonies and it maintains only a small military, but is still one of the largest economies in the world.
