About Me:

The CHSS Data Center is a research arm of the Congenital Heart Surgeons Society (CHSS). The CHSS has member surgeons and hospitals spread across North America and centers in Latin America as well as Europe. Our primary clinical interest is improvement in surgical treatment of congenital heart diseases. Many of these heart diseases are rare in nature making it extremely difficult to identify reliable statistical outcomes by doing research in isolation. Therefore, our member hospitals pool their information at one place where the clinical information can be segregated, stored and analyzed according to the heart condition of interest. The CHSS Data Center provides this central location and research services to the CHSS member surgeons and hospitals. The CHSS Data Center is located at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
