@urielsandoval500 - if you are removing the engine it would probably be easier to pull the tranny with it. If it is a manual tranny the input shaft sticks 3 or 4 inches into the clutch, pressure plate and pilot bearing on the crankshaft. You have to slide it all the way appart before the engine c...

@sharky322 - I usually turn the wheels, not sure why I didn't in the video. Oh well. Swiveling the caliper would probably simplify the replacement a little, thanks for the comment.

I like your portrayal of an elite Sales person. I want those traits in the sales person for what ever I buy. But, I have to disagree, you don't need to be in Car Sales to be a Car Guy. What makes you a Car Guy is your affinity to cars, you may be in repair, design, sales, hobbies, racing, journal...

@camarocomputer - There does not appear to be more than an inch between the tranny and the frame rail. That is not enough space to disengage the input shaft from the clutch/pressure plate. I am not about to remove the engine for a clutch replacement. That adds so much more complexity to the job. ...

I am not really sure what would cause it to grind after a clutch change. It could be something like the clutch is not disengaging all the way. Otherwise the gears grind because the synchros are going bad or something bad like that. So, first check the master and slave cylinders an...

@rfinch369 - Thanks for the comment. Sorry you have to work in the gravel. I used to have to do that. I did a 3L swap in my old Contour SVT in the gravel beside the house during the winter. Was not fun. Hanging tarps to keep me dry and stuff. Hopefully some day you will have a nice place to work.
