About this user
Welcome/Bienvenue, For His Majesty. Good People, I am Marti. I am a Celt, of Scottish, French, German, Irish & Italian origins. I respect all nationalities, all races, and it is without prejudice I undertake the following.....
My first is to promote the bona fide Scottish paternal line of,....
....ELVIS A. PRESLEY. A fellow Celt.
My second is whatever follows.
In the beginning there was Andrew, a Scotsman. He left Scotland in 1745
at the time of the 'Jacobite Uprising'...
...'Never To Return'
He sailed from the port of Greenock
to Wilmington North Carolina and travelled onward to a Scottish settlement in Anderson County. It is to this man we owe our gratitude.
For without his action there would have been no ELVIS A. PRESLEY.
Andrew had a son, Andrew Jnr. And so the tree was planted. And it grew thus,

Jesse D. McDowell Presley., 1896-1973

ELVIS A. PRESLEY., 1935-1977
On March 2nd 1960, whilst on his way from Germany To the USA. Sergeant ELVIS A. PRESLEY disembarked a DC 9 at Prestwick Airport Scotland, approx. 30miles (42km) from Greenock, the port that his ancestor had left from, more than 200 years previous. ELVIS spent some time with fans who had gathered to see their kinsman. As they cheered and cried he bid them farewell,.....a 'PRESLEY' once more leaving his 'homeland'....
......'Never To Return'
All that I have said is a matter of record.
Whilst I accept that a family grows from wide spread roots to branches that point in many directions, any other claims to the paternal line of
ELVIS A. PRESLEY are erroneous. It is worth noting that ELVIS' mother Gladys also bore two Scottish surnames, Love & Smith. Is this a case of birds of a feather flocking together. We are, after all, talking about 'The South' and its customs...Do you here a banjo?:-)))
It is time to recognise ELVIS' Celtic origins. Who among us has the audacity to deny ELVIS his 'birthright'
'The Celtic Race' expects nothing less.
Hail, ELVIS 1, KING OF CELTS,
KING OF ROCK & ROLL
