I'm a former evangelical Christian, now Atheist.

If the 'facts' of the Bible were true, Christianity would not require the suspension of reason, denial of evidence, and the threats of an imaginary hell in order to believe.

Even if Christianity were true, I could no longer betray my innate morality by accepting the infinite bliss of heaven while billions of people burn in hell for eternity.
