@suckitupnancy Actually it's worse case because of the weight and speed. The airplane is at maximum take off weight and the speed is the maximum they can abort a take off and still stop before going off a typical runway. Any faster and they are commited to take off, and go round, dump fuel, etc b...

David basically describes us as a parasite on the planet. Am I the only one here that finds that offensive? Our prosperity and achievements are a direct result of our intelligence and our ability to unleash human capitol. Far from being a parasite I'd say. Shame on you David.
