If you are boiling up your extract kit, you can throw any adjuncts into the brew kettle.

@fan1odw I've just had a massive weep myself after listening to it inoccently as a child. It's always been a favourite for forty years but I never put all the verses together until just now and realise it is a tragedy, about losing the imagination of a child who grows up and loses such a fantast...

whisky review 245 - Black & White
a decent, simple blended Scotch with a creamy-cirtus-grain thing going on.
I wouldn't trust the pourer as a security device, bar managers and stewards soon will get around anything if they are that way inclined. I've come across simple pour assist pourers and they have been good, enabling a constant pour rate, instead of a glup, glug, slop. If you have a ball in there...

... this classic Scotch gets an experienced drinker's appraisal of it's intrinsic quality.
You forgot about the gas meter seal and the fancy casket, plus there is the whole theatre of presentation, which is why it is not really a consumer's bottle of scotch. It's meant to be used as a complimentary arm-bender. It's how JW became the international big-boy. Geddit?

a hidden gem of a whisky.
@ralfystuff Thank's.
Well if the the whisky hazed, I couldn't have seen it for sure because of the ice on the outside of the bottle. I did feel there was a hint and perhaps the minimum applied chill-filtration has been used. As I remember, protein haze only exibits itself below 5 deg C, so I...

. . . here it is maltsters, the best option Malt for value-for-money, flavour, availability, and character in 2011
@BeerGogglesReviews That saved me asking you what you had against them. Yes many whisky producers use industrialised caramel, it is more significant in dmaging whisky than it is in damaging beer. I don't find Wells & Young's beers offensive, they're just being honest when they are not required ...
