James Sirius Potter is the eldest son of Harry and Ginny Potter. He has two siblings: Albus and Lily. He is seventeen years old, born on December 23.
~PHYSICAL APPEARANCE~
James is rather tall, about 6 feet, with a slight build. He is a bit thin, though his father and brother are described as scrawnier. He often likes to keep his hair trimmed, and his eyes are a deep caramel brown. When he isn't wearing his Hogwarts atire, he typically is a casual dresser, content with a nice T-shirt and jeans; though, he also knows how to 'clean up' well.
~PERSONALITY, PREFERENCES, AND TENDANCIES~
He has a rather strong personality--he is outgoing and high-spirited, often taking many situations lightly. When he is stressed, he often refuses to show it, instead making light of the situation by cracking a joke or simply dismissing it. On the exterior, he may seem a little cocky to some, though he is anything but. He has a sensitive side, though he can be reluctant to show it at times. He finds pulling pranks and causing mischief to be entertaining, and he often comments to his parents that he wants to work in his uncles' joke shop. Like his father, he can be a little stubborn, and he is extremely protective of those he loves, even going as far as to give his life if it meant keeping his family and friends safe.
~EDUCATION~
James gets fairly good marks in school, though he admits that he doesn't take academics as seriously as he should. He does receive strong marks in Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions, however. He attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he is in Gryffindor House, like his siblings and parents.
~RELATIONSHIPS~
A long while ago, James hadn't given falling in love a second thought. He always felt that when it would come, it would come. He wasn't expecting, however, for it to take hold of him so soon, and so quickly. He is currently married and happily in love with Elise Lupin, and he couldn't ask for a better wife.

He has a daughter, Katie Lisa Nymphadora Potter, whom, besides Elise, is his life and his world. He is noted to often call her 'princess'. He and Elise also have a son, Remus James "R.J." Harry Potter.

James enjoys flying--he has been on the Gryffindor Quidditch team since his second year (playing Keeper), and he was given the role as captain in his sixth year. His Patronus is of a Stag, like his father's, though it is smaller in size.
